Let’s Go Fishing~

When we think about it, how much do humans really know about the oceans? We probably know more about our solar system than the salty water we’re surrounded by. The following pictures are of sea creatures that I personally found amusing (if not terrifying) to look at. It seems as if the deeper we get, freakier aquatic life gets. Or maybe it’s just coincidence. Well, the ocean is vast. We’ll probably find beautiful ones too right? =)….

Right…?

When a squid becomes addicted to helium.

Silly shrimp, legs are for mammals!

Sebastian decided to use Rograin. (Can you spot the “:P” face? Hint:tilt head to the right)

Gaze at the stars with ME, baby.”

Squid + Nessie + Eel + Fish. Make up your mind.

The megamouth shark. I like obvious names.

“Honey, I cooked dinner for you <3…” How romantic.

Coffin fish. They can inflate themselves like puffer fish… but they look funnier, I bet.

The “handfish”. I love these names.

Mr Saturn?

Longcat will liek longfish.

Eee I wanna squish it.

-insert evil laugh-

Happy meal? No! Happy seal :3

The fish that will eat your lunch AND look like your lunch after you throw up from looking at it. Skills.

Found by Japanese fishermen. Awesome. Even their sharks are epic.

Owned by silly string.

Insert… what?

I hope we don’t see these creatures anytime soon on seafood menus. There so many more pictures I’d like to post, but you can do your own research. And Charles will probably kill me for taking up so much space. Anyway, here are some more pictures to end this entry.

I just wanna hug this Axolotl!!11!one

Coolest slug ever.

o. hai.

‘kay. One last one, I promise. I should stop here because I think I’m getting too carried away with this. So here — just because it’s cute.

  1. Comments are overrated when you can just directly talk. I still have to say this blog harbors my attention back to the oceans.
